All of our OTF knives (excluding the Halo) come with a safety feature to stop them when they come in contact with anything while deployed. I would recommend trying to troubleshoot the knife first. 

You can try the following:
1) holding the chassis firmly and flicking your wrist, and it should lock back.
 2) safely pulling the blade out with your fingertips until you hear it click back into place.  

Before shipping in for service take some compressed air and blow out the knife. Then apply a TINY drop of REM oil to the choil of the blade and fire it several times. If the knife continues to fail, you will need to send it in for servicing. 

*CHOIL the end of a knife's cutting edge which is nearer to the handle. 


If the issue persists, you are more than welcome to send it in, under warranty, to have our technicians look at the issue.
