Before shipping your knife for service, please make sure the following have been completed:
- Ticket has been submitted through our Warranty program
- Photos of the knife and if applicable, Service Personnel credentials have been attached to the ticket
- Verification from an Agent has been given to ship the knife to Microtech for service

1. Packaging: Securely pack your knife in a padded box (no envelopes). Cover all exposed blades.
2. Shipping: Use UPS or FedEx for reliable tracking.
3. Ticket Number: Mark your ticket number on the outside of the box and include these instructions with your knife.

5. Multiple Knives: Create a ticket for each knife, but you may ship them together, with a form for each.

6. Turnaround Time: The expected turnaround time is 10–12 weeks, though this may vary for older or custom models. While turnaround times depend on workload, we are committed to processing all items as promptly as possible.
7. Warranty and Payment: We will contact you if repairs are not covered under warranty to arrange payment.
8. Delivery: No PO Boxes. A signature is required upon delivery. A $25 fee applies if returned to us.
9. Signature Removal: Please include a signed note if you wish to lift the signature requirement.
10. Shipping Confirmation: UPS will email tracking information when your package ships.
11. Counterfeit Knives: Any counterfeits will be returned with markings removed and a $35 fee.
Warranty Terms: Misuse, loss, theft, natural wear, third-party accessories, and disassembly are not covered under warranty. Consequential damages are also not covered.
Maintenance Advisory: Routine care per the user manual is advised. All serviced knives are cleaned, oiled, and sharpened.
*Additional Note for Models from 2018 and Earlier: Limited Parts Availability: Older models may have limited parts. Submit photos before sending for assessment.
If the technician determines only cleaning is needed, a representative will contact you regarding fees. Service fees apply for knives damaged by misuse or neglect.
