At Microtech, we believe that when you purchase one of our knives, you’ve bought the best. Our talented associates work hard to ensure that the quality of every knife surpasses your expectations. Microtech Knives confidently extends a Limited Lifetime Warranty against any defects in materials or workmanship. We expect you to use the knife—we built it with that in mind.

When a knife is submitted for warranty service, our technicians will evaluate the return based on several factors, including (but not limited to):

  • The availability of parts
  • Whether or not the model is still in active production
  • The current condition of components and overall integrity of the knife

Please note that some parts and materials have a natural lifespan—all materials degrade over time with use and exposure to the elements.

What is NOT Covered by the Limited Lifetime Warranty?

  • Damage from Misuse
     Any damage caused by improper use, neglect, abuse, disassembly, or unauthorized modifications.
  • Loss, Theft, or Accidents
     The warranty does not cover lost, stolen, or accidentally damaged knives or parts.
  • Normal Wear and Tear
     Cosmetic wear, surface scratches, finish fading, or other signs of natural aging are not covered.
  • Third-Party Accessories
     Non-Microtech parts or accessories (e.g., aftermarket clips, hardware, scales etc.).
  • Incidental or Consequential Damages
     We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the product.

How to Protect Your Limited Lifetime Warranty

  • Practice Proper Knife Care
     Always follow your knife’s user manual and care instructions to maintain optimal function.
