To acquire replacement screws, start by filling out the new support ticket form in our portal: http://support.microtechknives.com/support/tickets/new.
We handle screw replacements in 2 different ways:
1) When submitting a RA ticket a customer can send us photos of their knife with the missing screws, and we can send them replacement screws, based on availability. Please note that the installation of the screw requires a special tool that we do not provide. It would have to be purchased separately from one of our dealers. Additionally, it can be easy to strip the threads if done improperly – which is why we encourage you to send it to our warranty department.
2) The knife can be sent to us and we can replace and tighten the screws under warranty, as well as clean, oil, and sharpen your knife (recommended option).
